Important Notice - Freight Free Policy

Due to the continued rising costs of fuel, surcharges, transportation costs and courier tickets, we are forced to raised our freight free limit on products.

 From 1st August 2022 the following policies will be applied: 

  1. All orders of $275.00 + GST or greater will be delivered freight free into the account holders normal place of delivery by a courier of our choice unless any of the conditions below are present. 
  1. A freight surcharge may apply if a different courier/carrier is nominated or specified other than the above method. 
  1. A shipment split into multiple delivery addresses may incur a freight surcharge. 
  1. Rural delivery charges may apply. NB: The decision around whether an address is “rural” is made by the automated systems that couriers use - NOT by the Patch Rubber team. 
  1. Saturday delivery charges may apply. 
  1. Any item returned for credit may be subject to a freight recovery charge. 
  1. Backorders will be supplied freight free ONLY if the item is normally carried on our vehicle. If it is not normally carried in our vehicle - the back order may be subject to the $275.00 threshold AND may be subject to any other conditions as detailed in this document. 
  1. Residential surcharges may apply. NB: The decision around whether an address is “residential” is made by the automated systems that couriers use - NOT by the Patch Rubber team. 
  1. Inter-Island freight charges may apply. If an order (including back orders) contains products which must be moved Inter-Island, the order may be subject some or all the charges incurred.  The Patch Rubber team member processing your order will identify these charges and obtain authorization before shipping. 

Note to customers:  We try to balance our choice of courier/carrier between efficiency, service provided and cost. If we are using a service provider for your deliveries that does not meet your expectations, then please contact us so we can discuss the options.   We also acknowledge that certain freight companies have strengths in particular areas and we welcome any feedback provided on these issues. It is also helpful if our customers can advise the degree of urgency of your delivery at the time of order. This ensures we choose the correct service to meet your expectations whilst balancing the cost for everyone.
